We have reached Pacific City where we stop at Pelican Pub & Brewery. We went here years ago. This is the back of the pub. It's a very pretty, sandy beach. That big rock is named Haystack Rock The rock is the world's fourth largest monolith that cannot be reached by land. We were still stuffed, but Jim managed to eat the Local Steamers (clams, herbs, bread) Dana got the award winning chowder Denice got the house salad. Mike got the smoked oyster bruschetta We are in Portland. The cars are not blurry because we are inching our way. We are finally getting closer to our hotel and we can see Mt. Hood.
