We usually like to start the vacation with some tours, especially the Hop-On Hop-Off ones. We had originally planned to get off on Coronado Island to eat lunch, but we realized when we got there it was too early. Next we realized that Coronado Island was a zoo! Many of the properties were beach rentals and the place was packed!

So, we decided to keep on touring on the Trolley, and we did enjoy the narrative and information. We got off at our planned second stop, Balboa Park.

Our Hop-On Hop-Off tour brought us back to our hotel, where we could regroup for the evening baseball game. We took the train to the ballpark. The game was fun, but after the game we looked forward to the patriotic laser and fireworks show.
